Wisdom

I am wise beyond my ears

I am wise beyond my fears

I am wise beyond my tears

  1. It is curious that you claim to be wise beyond tears since you would have to consider the relationship between wisdom and emotion. Is there a strength one gets from wisdom that allows he/she to break the emotional barrier to the point of no tears? If emotion is healthy (imo a human defining characteristic) then who would want the wisdom above tears?

  2. The "I" is not necessarily me.

Nowhere does it say there are no tears, only that there is wisdom beyond them, not beyond in the sense that it replaces them but beyond in the sense of "additional."
